Horizon Fitness is one of the more popular producers of cheap(er) treadmills, the important thing to remember when you are looking at the Horizon T101 range of treadmills is that it is cheap (click here for the current best price), therefore the quality and longevity of the equipment will not be the same as for the higher priced brands.

- Incline upto 10%; Pretty decent incline level for a treadmill in this price range.
- LED display; These effectively come as standard these days but its still good to mention.
- 9 Individual Workout Programs; I always recommend tailoring your own workout program but these are good to get you started or when you fancy a change
- 10mph Speed Capacity; probably not high enough for experienced persons but plenty if all you want to do is go for a jog.
- 2.25 HP Duty Motor -- A silent working motor that can withstand jogging.
- 275lbs weight capacity
- Lifetime warranty on frame and motor; one year warranty on parts and labor.

Looking into the 1 star review the reviewer said that when he received the equipment it was already broken, so this might have just been a shipping incident. For a treadmill on the cheaper end of the scale the Horizon T101 is definitely decent value.
It isn’t quite as stable and durable as the heavier, more expensive treadmills but neither is any other model in this price range.
Generally speaking if you are going to be giving serious abuse to your treadmill because you are into serious running or are overweight (remember the 275lbs weight capacity!) then you should probably look at some of the more expensive treadmills.
However if you are looking for a piece of equipment to work out with a couple of times per week then the Horizon Fitness T101 could be the treadmill for you.

just make sure you if you are buying online to get it shipped by someone reliable because i ordered a treadmill once (not this make) and whne it got delivered it was broken

@Stevie – True, that’s why I always recommend you buy from Amazon, normally its cheaper than local stores and their delivery is top notch, if you ever have a problem they will sort it easy as.
