When it comes to losing belly fat there is a huge about of incorrect information out there. Some of this information is so wrong that I would actually venture that it could harm your weight loss efforts rather than help them. With this in mind I would recommend you check out the video below to learn 3 of the biggest weight loss myths around today…
3 Belly Fat Loss Myths
Egg Whites v Whole Eggs – I’m sure a lot of you have heard this popular myth that you should cut the yolk out of your eggs and just eat the whites. Well it just isn’t right! The healthy fats in whole eggs helps you control your appetite and balances special fat burning hormones responsible for your weight loss.
Eat Whole Grains Because They Are Less Fattening – Another popular fat loss myth. Eating whole grains will spike your insulin levels leaving you craving more, not less.
Avoid Nuts – This one is crazy, nuts include great amounts of protein and healthy fats that your body loves and will help you to lose fat. Nuts also contain a great deal of fat burning hormones that will actually speed up your fat burning power.

Lance,
These are three pretty common myths that I’ll admit, I used to buy into a few years ago before I started doing more research on fat loss nutrition. Whole grains is probably the biggest one. People use this as an excuse to eat bread, pasta, and cereal but this will certainly backfire if they eat too much.

Whole eggs definitely get a bad rap. I agree they definitely promote fat burning in moderation, not to mention they keep you feeling full.
